We're partnering a global leader in the energy transition, to recruit experienced HV Electricians across Pilbara sites. Join a high-performing Mobile Maintenance team working on CAT trucks and Liebherr electric equipment. 6-month contract on a 2:1 roster, FIFO from Perth with Busselton and Bunbury transport provided. Play a key role in maintaining fleet reliability, with strong potential for extension and long-term opportunities.

What are you going to do 

As a High Voltage Electrician, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of a heavy mobile equipment fleet across Pilbara operations. You will carry out HV/LV maintenance, fault finding, and switching activities, ensuring equipment availability and supporting production targets. This role offers the opportunity to apply your technical expertise while contributing to a high-performing, safety-focused team, including responsibilities such as:

  • Perform HV/LV electrical maintenance on mobile mining equipment
  • Conduct HV switching, isolation, testing, and fault finding on electrical systems
  • Diagnose and repair faults across HME electrical and distribution systems
  • Complete planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance to maximise equipment uptime
  • Ensure all work complies with site standards, statutory requirements, and procedures
  • Maintain accurate statutory records within the electrical logbook
  • Follow SAP work management processes for maintenance activities
  • Participate in toolbox talks and safety initiatives to promote safe work practices
  • Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment to company standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise fleet performance

Essential skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Australian Electrical Trade Qualification or Skills Assessment
  • WA Electrical Grade A Licence / Current Western Australia Electrical Licence (Unrestricted)
  • HV Switching Operator Certificate
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining HME (Heavy Mobile Equipment) electrical systems
  • Strong HV/LV fault finding and power distribution knowledge
  • Previous experience in mining or heavy industry
  • Experience using SAP and MS Office systems
  • High Risk Work Licence (Desirable: Forklift, Dogging, Crane)
  • Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)
  • Current First Aid Certificate, CPR / LVR Certificate
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence (C Class) - HR Desirable
  • Full Australian Working Rights
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and zero harm
  • Strong time management, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
