What are you going to do 

Duties & Responsibilities onsite:

As the HDD Nightshift Coordinator, for the Project you will be in a site-based night-shift role during the shore-crossing drilling and casing insertion, and will be responsible as the owners team representative for management and safety leadership of the HDD Contractor during these works.
Role then mobilises to Barrow Island (BWI) ahead of mobilisation of first implementation contractor, responsibilities then include:

  • Responsible for owners team oversight and safe execution of the HDD shore-crossing and casing insertion activities on night-shift in accordance with the Project schedule.
  • Provide onsite visible safety leadership to the Project owners team, the implementation contractors, vendor representatives and other specialists, and through interface to the base business and operating assets.
  • Responsible for owners team oversight of quality execution.Support ‘one island’ emergency management/emergency response and health & medical personnel & procedures

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Minimum 15 years' working construction experience with Oil & Gas, or similar industry, required.
  • Trade qualification, construction management formal training, or suitable Degree or equivalent
  • Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) experience is essential.
  • Good general computing skills including excel and word and MS Teams required.Strong organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal (English language) communications skills are essential
  • Creative, pragmatic, open-minded thinking and a can-do attitude are required to facilitate solutions.
