Introduction

Brunel International is a leading oil field services company looking for a Grinder Operator to join our team. The Grinder Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating grinding machines to shape, sharpen and polish metal parts. This is a full-time position with a minimum 1 year project duration.

What are you going to do

The Grinder Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating grinding machines to shape, sharpen and polish metal parts. They must be able to interpret technical drawings, set up the grinding machines and adjust the cutting tools to achieve desired results. The Grinder Operator must also be knowledgeable in the safe use of the grinding machines and must possess a good understanding of the principles of grinding, such as angles, speed, pressure and feed rate. They must also be able to record and maintain accurate production records and ensure that the machines are kept in good working order.

Ability to operate and maintain grinding machinery;
Experience with operating grinding machinery;
Good communication skills;
Ability to follow instructions;
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings;
Ability to use measuring equipment;
Ability to work with minimal supervision;
Ability to Communicate, Read & write in English & Arabic;
Ability to work independently;
Excellent problem solving skills;
Attention to detail;
Good manual dexterity.
