Introduction

Brunel is seeking experienced FXP Maintainers for FIFO opportunities based in Paraburdoo, Pilbara, Western Australia. Working within a high-performing maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining critical fixed plant assets from the processing plant through to train load-out facilities. This is an initial 6-month contract with potential extension for the right candidates.

What are you going to do 

Brunel is currently seeking experienced FXP Maintainers for FIFO positions based in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

Working within a fixed plant maintenance environment, you will be responsible for safely maintaining and repairing a variety of plant equipment to ensure maximum reliability and operational performance.

This role offers an attractive FIFO lifestyle roster with ongoing opportunities to contribute to a large-scale mining operation.

  • Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant equipment
  • Conduct inspections, fault finding and repairs
  • Maintain equipment reliability and plant availability
  • Work across:
    • Crushers
    • Screens
    • Chutes
    • Conveyors
    • Train Load-Out systems
  • Complete maintenance activities in accordance with site safety procedures and maintenance standards
  • Participate in shutdown and maintenance campaigns
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety compliance
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, planners and fellow trades personnel

Essential skills and knowledge

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Proven experience in Fixed Plant Maintenance within the mining or heavy industry sector
  • Mechanical trade qualification or relevant maintenance experience
  • Current C Class Manual Driver's Licence
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and site-specific requirements

Highly Desirable

  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Ticket
  • Forklift Licence
  • Dogging Ticket
  • Rigging Ticket
  • Confined Space Ticket
  • Previous experience working across crushers, screens, conveyors and train load-out infrastructure

Candidates who demonstrate strong safety behaviours, reliability and a positive attitude will be highly regarded.
