Brunel is seeking a Fixed Plant Operator for a residential opportunity at Parker Point. We are looking for safety-focused individuals to work a rotating pattern of 5 nights, 5 days, and 4 nights, supporting critical fixed plant operations within a collaborative team environment.

What are you going to do 

Brunel is currently recruiting for a Fixed Plant Operator to join a major mining operation located at Parker Point. This is a 12-month contract opportunity suited to candidates with experience in fixed plant, processing, or industrial environments who are committed to maintaining safe and efficient operations.

Roster & Benefits

  • 12-month contract
  • Residential opportunity for candidates based in Dampier or Karratha
  • Rotating shift pattern of 5 nights, 5 days, and 4 nights
  • Return home between shifts as part of this residential role

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor fixed plant equipment safely and efficiently
  • Work around and support operations involving:
    • Stackers
    • Reclaimers
  • Conduct routine operational checks and identify potential issues
  • Maintain compliance with site safety procedures and workplace standards
  • Collaborate effectively with operations and maintenance teams
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives

Essential skills and knowledge

To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a fixed plant, processing, mining, or industrial environment
  • Exposure to FIFO or DIDO work environments
  • Confidence working in challenging and remote conditions, including Pilbara climates
  • Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Reliable work ethic with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Current Australian C-Class Manual Driver's Licence
  • Full Australian working rights with no restrictions
  • Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
  • Must currently reside in, or be willing to reside in, the Dampier/Karratha region
