What are you going to do 

We are seeking a Junior Field Service Engineer to support our client with the installation, operation, and maintenance of water treatment systems. This role suits candidates with 3 years of experience, who are keen to develop hands-on technical and customer-facing skills in an industrial environment.

You will work within defined procedures to resolve moderately complex issues, provide on-site technical support, and contribute to customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support to customers in the operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of Veolia systems
  • Interpret operational data and deliver technical guidance and instructions to customers
  • Support troubleshooting activities and perform basic fault analysis
  • Report service activities, customer issues, and equipment performance trends in a timely and structured manner
  • Assist in identifying recurring issues and recommend improvements
  • Support maintenance reviews and highlight training needs where necessary
  • Act as a point of contact for assigned customer sites, ensuring service delivery standards are met
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support long-term engagement
  • Coordinate with internal teams and customers to execute service plans effectively
  • Ensure all assigned KPIs and service standards are achieved
  • Promote safe work practices and ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service delivery
  • Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent
  • Min 3 years of experience in field service, preferably in water treatment or industrial environments
  • Experience in water treatment, water hygiene, or EHS will be an added advantage
  • good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willing to perform site-based work involving frequent walking and physical activity
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn
