The client is seeking an experienced Exploration Field Supervisor to support exploration programs across North America and occasionally Europe. This role combines field leadership and operational planning, overseeing exploration campaigns from mobilization and logistics through to field execution. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining safe, efficient, and compliant exploration operations while supporting multidisciplinary field teams.

This contract role is anticipated to run approximately 4-6 months and may be based remotely during planning phases, with travel required during active exploration campaigns. Rotation schedules may be utilized during field execution, with maximum 12-hour workdays during field operations.

Responsibilities

· Lead safe field operations and promote a strong safety-first culture.

· Coordinate exploration field activities, mobilization, travel, accommodations, and site logistics.

· Develop and maintain field work plans, schedules, and operational readiness activities.

· Facilitate risk assessments, hazard identification, and critical control verification.

· Conduct daily pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, and field leadership activities.

· Supervise contractors, service providers, and field personnel.

· Monitor field activities, personnel movements, and emergency response readiness.

· Maintain operational records, permits, inventories, reports, and compliance documentation.

· Support land access activities and ensure adherence to environmental and cultural heritage requirements.

· Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with company standards, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

· Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within exploration, mining, or field operations.

· Background in geology, mineral exploration, or exploration operations.

· Experience supporting both field execution and planning activities.

· Demonstrated experience coordinating remote field programs and contractor teams.

· Strong knowledge of risk management, safety systems, and operational compliance.

· Ability to travel extensively and work in remote exploration environments.

· Experience working across multiple jurisdictions is considered an asset.

· Current First Aid certification.

· Valid driver's license and ability to operate 4x4 vehicles in remote terrain.

· Eligible to satisfy project-specific medical and fitness-for-work requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

· Exploration drilling and field campaign experience.

· Emergency response participation and incident management experience.

· Logistics coordination and contractor management experience.

· Strong communication and leadership abilities.

· Experience operating in remote environments with diverse stakeholder groups.

· Defensive driving and off-road driving certifications are considered assets.
