What are you going to do 

The Execution Reliability Specialist (ERS) ensures the quality, reliability, and compliance of drilling and completions activities. This role focuses on quality assurance, risk management, equipment inspection, and process optimization to enhance operational efficiency and safety. The ERS works closely with internal teams and external service providers to drive continuous improvement and maintain industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance & Control - Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

  • Risk Management - Identify and assess potential risks, implementing mitigation strategies to enhance safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Inspection & Testing - Conduct inspections and testing on drilling equipment, materials, and processes to ensure integrity and compliance.

  • Documentation & Reporting - Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and compliance with regulatory requirements, generating reports for continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Collaboration & Training - Work with drilling teams, service providers, and management to promote a culture of quality. Provide training on quality standards and procedures.

  • Continuous Improvement - Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to enhance safety, reduce costs, and optimize operations.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 8 years in drilling & completions, oilfield inspection, manufacturing, or quality/procurement.

    • At least 2 years in a role requiring minimal supervision.

    • 5+ years in quality assurance/control for drilling and completions goods/services.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of quality assurance practices.

    • Familiarity with industry standards (API, ISO 9000, ASME, NACE, etc.).

    • General understanding of drilling engineering and operations.

    • Experience in material selection, failure analysis, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Preferences:

  • Experience in Drilling Engineering and Operations.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in team environments.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Supervisory and coaching experience.

What we offer 

Duration: Minimum 12 months - long term ongoing contract

Location: Midland, TX

Schedule: 2 Weeks Rotational
