Introduction

  • The Equipment Operator - WIT is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable PSD (Product & Service Delivery) to Customers. The Equipment Operator - WIT identifies opportunities to improve service delivery and assists field and maintenance crews in preparing equipment for operations.
  • Successful Position holders are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, and work well in teams.

What are you going to do 

  • Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.
  • Maintain good, safe working order of equipment according to standards, reporting problems or deviations.
  • Ensure individual and crew work safety.
  • Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times.
  • Operate the equipment according to competency level and job requirement.
  • Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
  • Maintain the required safety training.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related science
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working offshore.
  • Offshore experience required.
  • Able to operate standalone at least one piece of frac equipment i.e. high pressure pump.
  • Very familiar with rig-up/down procedures and chemical mixing
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

    • Day Rate in USD Plus Allowance
  • Work Schedule:
    • Rotation: Offshore, 6 weeks on; 3 weeks off
  • Duration:
    • 1 Year, renewable
  • Location:
    • Qatar
