Als Entwicklungsingenieur für Thermisches Design sind Sie für die Entwicklung innovativer Stromversorgungslösungen für führende internationale Datacenter-Betreiber verantwortlich. Sie begleiten Produkte über den gesamten Entwicklungszyklus hinweg, von der Konzeptphase bis zum Serienanlauf.

Zu Ihren Aufgaben gehören.

What are you going to do 

  • Entwicklung und thermische Auslegung von Stromversorgungssystemen für moderne IT-Infrastrukturen

  • Durchführung thermischer Analysen und Simulationen zur Bewertung von Leistung, Sicherheit, Zuverlässigkeit und Funktionalität neuer Produktlösungen

  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Bereichen Elektronikentwicklung, Mechanik, Layout sowie Wickelgüterentwicklung

  • Präsentation und Abstimmung von thermischen Analysen und Optimierungskonzepten mit Kunden

  • Erstellung und Weiterentwicklung thermischer Modelle zur Simulation von Strömungs- und Wärmeübertragungsprozessen

  • Praktische Tests und Optimierungen an Hardware-Prototypen zur Verbesserung der thermischen Systemperformance

  • Unterstützung bei der Überführung neuer Produkte in die Serienfertigung

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium des Maschinenbaus oder der Physik (Masterabschluss oder vergleichbare Qualifikation)
  • Berufserfahrung in diesem Tätigkeitsfeld sowie Beherrschung der Grundlagen der Thermodynamik
  • Solide Grundlagenkenntnisse in der Wärmetechnik sowie ein fundiertes Verständnis der Prinzipien der Wärmeübertragung
  • Erfahrungen in der thermischen Modellierung, Simulation und Analyse thermodynamischer Zusammenhänge
  • Kenntnisse im Umgang mit kommerzieller CFD-Simulationssoftware (vorzugsweise Flowtherm oder FloEFD), solide Kenntnisse einer CAD-Software (bevorzugt Creo) sowie Erfahrung in der Modellierung von Strömungs- und thermodynamischen Problemen
  • Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
  • Internationale Reisebereitschaft
