As an Embedded Systems & R&D Engineer, you will develop and integrate advanced embedded software for drones and other specialized technical systems. You will be involved throughout the entire development cycle, from concept and prototyping to testing and validation.

What are you going to do 

You will join an innovative organization that develops advanced technological solutions for complex safety and defense-related applications. In this role, you will work closely with hardware and R&D engineers on the development and integration of embedded systems. The focus is on innovation, product development, and system optimization, giving you the opportunity to contribute from the initial design phase through to a fully validated solution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain embedded software using C/C++ (and Python where applicable).
  • Work with microcontrollers and embedded hardware at system level.
  • Integrate, test, and debug hardware and software systems.
  • Contribute to R&D projects, prototypes, and technical improvements.
  • Perform technical analyses and solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including designs and test results.

Essential skills and knowledge

You are analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about innovative technologies. You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary environment where software and hardware come together, and you are motivated by developing new solutions. In addition, you are proactive, eager to learn, and enjoy contributing ideas for technical improvements.


You also have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with embedded software development in C/C++.
  • Basic knowledge of electronics and the interaction between hardware and software.
  • Preferably experience with embedded communication protocols such as SPI, I²C, CAN, or UART, and/or experience testing in an R&D or laboratory environment.
