What are you going to do 

  • Entwicklung und Weiterentwicklung von Embedded-Software für Linux-basierte Systeme in C/C++.
  • Analyse und Umsetzung von System- und Softwareanforderungen sowie Erstellung technischer Softwarearchitekturen.
  • Entwicklung hardwarenaher Software, Treiber und Integration von Hardwarekomponenten.
  • Aufbau und Pflege von Yocto-Buildumgebungen sowie Automatisierung von Build-, Test- und CI/CD-Prozessen.
  • Durchführung von Unit-, Integrations- und Systemtests sowie Verifikation und Dokumentation der Software.
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Hardware-, FPGA- und Systementwicklung zur kontinuierlichen Optimierung bestehender Lösungen.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Elektrotechnik, Informationstechnik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation mit mehrjähriger Erfahrung in der Embedded-Softwareentwicklung
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse in C/C++, Embedded Linux, Yocto, CMake und Linux Device Trees
  • Erfahrung in der hardwarenahen Entwicklung, Treiberentwicklung sowie im Umgang mit Bussystemen wie SPI, UART, I²C und Ethernet
  • Kenntnisse moderner Entwicklungsprozesse, CI/CD-Pipelines sowie strukturierte und eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise
  • Idealerweise Erfahrung mit GNSS/GPS, Linux-Kernel-Entwicklung, Automotive, CAN/CANopen, FPGA (VHDL), automatisierten Tests oder modernen Web-Technologien
