Introduction

Brunel is seeking a Dayforce QA Consultant to support a large-scale enterprise payroll modernization initiative within the public sector. This role will join an established Quality Engineering team focused on end-to-end manual testing activities across payroll, HR, and integrated enterprise systems.

What are you going to do 

  • Execute end-to-end manual QA and testing activities across Dayforce payroll workflows * Perform parallel payroll validation and payroll reconciliation testing
    * Develop and execute test scenarios, test cases, and validation scripts * Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
    * Validate data migration and payroll outputs across integrated systems * Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
    * Collaborate with QA teams, functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders * Support defect triage, retesting, and root cause analysis activities
    * Ensure testing documentation and execution standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle

Essential skills and knowledge

  • 5-8 years of QA / Testing experience within enterprise environments
  • Recent Dayforce testing experience required
  • Strong manual QA and end-to-end testing experience
  • Experience with payroll testing and parallel pay validation
  • Experience supporting enterprise HRIS or payroll transformation projects
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments
  • Must be eligible for PSPC Reliability Clearance
  • Active PSPC Reliability Clearance
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Ability to provide valid clearance documentation/certificates
  • Workday payroll testing experience
  • Federal government or public sector project experience
  • Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar QA/testing tools
