What are you going to do 

  • End-to-End Data Engineering durch Übernahme der Verantwortung für den gesamten Datenlebenszyklus von der ersten Datenanbindung unterschiedlicher Quellsysteme bis hin zur fertigen Modellentwicklung
  • Aufbau und Optimierung von stabilen ETL- beziehungsweise ELT-Strecken unter Verwendung von Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks und Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Konzeption und Implementierung robuster, zukunftssicherer Datenstrukturen nach dem DataVault-Standard sowie multidimensionaler Modelle im klassischen Star-Schema
  • Entwicklung von intuitiv nutzbaren semantischen Datenmodellen in Power BI unter Einsatz von komplexem DAX zur Ermöglichung von Self-Service-Analysen für Kolleg*innen in den nicht-technischen Fachbereichen
  • Aktive Mitarbeit in der modernen DevOps-Toolchain zur Versionierung, für CI/CD und für das Deployment via Azure DevOps und GitHub

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformaik, Datenwissenschaften, Mathematik oder vergleichbar notwendig
  • Erfahrung in der Umsetzung komplexer Datenarchitekturen auf Basis der Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform erforderlich
  • Tiefgehendes Verständnis von Datenmodellierungstechniken mit Fokus auf DataVault und die dimensionale Modellierung nach dem Star-Schema gewünscht
  • Beherrschung von SQL und Python für die Datenprozessierung sowie für das Skripting notwendig
  • Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse notwendig
