What are you going to do 

  • Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during fabrication process.
  • Ensure that all piping are properly preserved as per approved project specs.
  • Share lessons learned and best practices with contractor.
  • Promote safe working environment by attending TBT, RA and being visible at site.
  • Direct all Piping installation and completion activity to ensure zero carry-over works upon leaving the yard
  • Manages and ensures successful execution of CP Topsides piping fabrication project components to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, Schedule, and others, as appropriate).
  • To supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the piping fabrication, Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and applicable International Standards.
  • To check the constructability aspects, as well as the compliance to all technical requirements, of the deliverables provided by the Engineering Team Contractor.
  • To review deviations to company LNG construction standards for comments with Contractors / Subcontractors input, to deliver a consistent dossier (documents, materials, procured and fabricated items, precom/com dossiers, as built …) for the construction activities.
  • Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Diploma
  • 8 years' experience of large offshore decks/topsides/livingquarters in a Piping supervisory position
  • Experience with multinational teams
  • Experience of exotic, GRE and carbon steel piping systems
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of industry standard work practices and codes/standards.
  • Experience of spool fabrication and installation.
  • Experience of piping completions - line walks, hydrotesting, flushing/drying, re-instatement and flange management
  • CRA clad piping experience
