Introduction

Brunel Energy is working with a major engineering, architecture and construction company, looking to hire a Construction Project Manager to support business from either their Wallingford, CT or their Newton, MA office for a long-term contract assignment.

What are you going to do 

Main Functions:
The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with subcontractors and other stakeholders, interfacing internally and externally, since there will also be frequent visits to the client sites. This position must have a thorough understanding of transmission and distribution systems as well as experience managing utility construction projects.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • At least 5 years of experience with utility, underground construction and project management.
  • Experience with Transmission and Distribution - High or Medium voltage.
  • Willingness to make site visits.
  • An engineering degree is a plus.
