What are you going to do 

Our client, a prestigious leader in the oil and gas sector, is seeking dedicated Commissioning Engineer - I&C to join their dynamic team on a contract basis. This opportunity will place you at the forefront of critical commissioning activities and allow you to make a significant impact within a leading global organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Commissioning Engineer - I&C is responsible for executing commissioning activities for instrumentation and control systems.
  • Execute pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for I&C systems.
  • Perform loop checking, calibration, and functional testing.
  • Commission DCS, PLC, SCADA and ESD systems.
  • Review P&IDs, logic diagrams, and control philosophies.
  • Ensure readiness for start-up and handover.
  • Manage and close punch lists.
  • Prepare commissioning procedures and reports.
  • Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, electrical, and process teams.
  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC and international standards.
  • Maintain commissioning documentation and reports.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
  • Relevant Experience: 5-10 Years.
  • English language is preferred.
  • ADNOC & GCC experience is mandatory.
  • Experience in EPC/EPCM commissioning projects.
  • Hands-on experience with DCS/PLC/SCADA/ESD systems.
  • Familiarity with ICAPS, WINPCS, or similar tools.
  • Vendor coordination experience.
