Introduction

As a Business Controller Inventory Management, you connect Finance with Inventory Operations and provide insight into inventory performance, working capital and financial developments. You work with stakeholders across the organization to improve planning, reporting and decision-making. What are you going to do 

As a Business Controller Inventory Management, you act as a financial business partner for the inventory management domain. You analyze developments, support planning and forecasting cycles, and translate operational developments into financial impact. Together with stakeholders across Finance, Planning & Delivery, Re-use & Repair and other departments, you create transparency and enable effective decision-making.

  • Monitor inventory performance, working capital developments and inventory-related financial results, translating these into clear insights for management and operational stakeholders.
  • Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual inventory planning and performance management cycles.
  • Support inventory target setting and assess the financial impact of operational developments, risks and opportunities.
  • Drive improvements in inventory governance, forecasting, reporting, standardization and automation.

Essential skills and knowledge

You are analytical, proactive and enjoy connecting financial insights with operational challenges. You communicate effectively with different stakeholders and can influence decisions through strong analysis and clear communication. You enjoy working in multidisciplinary and international teams and remain effective in a dynamic and complex environment.

  • You have a master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Business Economics or a comparable field.
  • You have extensive experience in Business Control, Supply Chain Finance, Inventory Management or a comparable finance role.
  • You have experience with financial planning, forecasting and performance management.
  • You are highly skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • You are currently residing in the Netherlands.
