Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Associate to support our in-house book digitization operations on a 5-month contract. This role involves handling physical books, preparing them for scanning, and ensuring accurate tagging and high-quality output using large-scale scanning systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare books for scanning by precisely cutting and separating pages as per defined SOPs
- Operate and assist with high-volume, industrial scanning machines
- Ensure clean and accurate cutting to avoid content loss
- Perform tagging, indexing, and proper file organization
- Follow strict operational guidelines and quality standards
- Conduct quality checks for clarity, alignment, and completeness
- Maintain workflow tracking and documentation
- Ensure proper handling and care of physical materials
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High attention to detail and precision in manual work
- Ability to follow structured processes consistently
- Basic familiarity with scanning or document processing tools (preferred)
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle repetitive, process-driven tasks efficiently
Preferred Experience
- Experience in document digitization, back-office operations, or scanning roles
- Exposure to large-format or industrial scanners is a plus
Work Environment
- Fully in-office role with physical handling of books and scanning equipment
- Fixed working hours and structured workflow
- Team-based environment with defined quality benchmarks
