Introduction

Brunel International is seeking an experienced Wellsafe Engineer or Workover Rig professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining tools and processes used to achieve and sustain WellSafe certification for all Workover Department Rig-based and Rigless operations.

What are you going to do 

The Wellsafe Engineer or Workover Rig will be responsible for providing WellSafe training to the Workover department (Rig site Supervisors, Workover Engineers, Sr. Rig Supervisors, Rigless personnel, and business partners). This individual will also be responsible for completing WellSafe initial and sustainment certification requirements, developing and deploying tracking systems to ensure WellSafe certification is achieved and maintained for all current and future operations. Additionally, this individual will lead the Workover Team to ensure WellSafe business unit, design/plan, Rig, an execution requirements are being met.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent;
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in Workover/Drilling;
  • Proven track record of developing tools and processes used to achieve and sustain WellSafe certification;
  • Experience providing training on WellSafe procedures;
  • Ability to develop tracking systems to ensure compliance with WellSafe standards;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team in meeting goals.
