What are you going to do 

Responsibilities

* Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care to a diverse patient base

* Independently manage cases, including diagnostics, treatment planning, and emergencies

* Collaborate closely with RVTs, assistants, and client care teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes

* Communicate effectively with clients to support understanding, compliance, and continuity of care

* Contribute to a positive team environment through strong communication, teamwork, and leadership

* Maintain accurate medical records and uphold clinical and regulatory standards

* Participate in continuous learning to further develop clinical and professional skills

Essential skills and knowledge

Requirements

* Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree

* 3-7 years of clinical experience in small animal practice

* Eligible for or currently holding a Private Practice license in British Columbia

* Strong proficiency in surgery and dentistry, with confidence managing complex cases

* Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

* Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and client-focused approach
