What are you going to do
We are partnering with our client, a leading organisation in the Oil & Gas sector, to appoint an experienced Structural Mooring Engineer to join our client's team in Bangalore. In this permanent position, you will play a key role in delivering complex offshore mooring solutions, ensuring compliance with international standards and supporting high-profile projects within the FPSO and wider offshore domain.
Key Requirements
- Deliver Mooring Design and Engineering support across concept, FEED and detailed design phases.
- Prepare 3D models, 2D drawings and design deliverables.
- Perform design studies and ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes and industry standards.
- Coordinate with Engineers, Lead Designers and other disciplines to resolve design interfaces and clashes.
- Review drawings, models and vendor documents for quality and accuracy.
- Complete assigned deliverables within project schedules.
Essential skills and knowledge
- 3-8 years of relevant design experience.
- Experience in Offshore Oil & Gas / Mooring Design is preferred.
- Experience with FPSO Moorings & Riser Balcony Structures, Turret Mooring Systems, Renewables, or Subsea Engineering will be an advantage.
- 3DEXPERIENCE/CATIA, AutoCAD, Navisworks
