Introduction
Senior Electrical Project Engineer required for a site-based role supporting construction delivery across a major project. Focus on field engineering, QA/QC, work packs, testing and completions. Working closely with supervisors, electricians and contractors to drive safe, compliant installation and efficient project delivery.
What are you going to do
- Prepare and manage electrical work packs, drawings, and documentation
- Maintain QA/QC (ITPs, ITRs, inspections, records)
- Raise and close technical queries (TQs)
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities
- Conduct site walkdowns, punch lists, and completions
- Complete redlines and as-built documentation
- Liaise with supervisors, electricians, planners, and contractors
- Ensure works meet specs, drawings, and Australian Standards
- Drive safe, compliant, site-based delivery
Essential skills and knowledge
- Strong site-based construction experience (contractor side highly preferred)
- Proven experience with work packs, ITPs/ITRs, QA/QC & completions
- Background in mining, O&G, LNG or heavy industrial projects
- Hands-on, practical engineer comfortable working in the field
- Strong communicator working with supervisors, trades & subcontractors
