The Senior Construction Engineer is responsible for coordinating all construction activities in project / onsite, facilitating effective communication between various stakeholders, ensuring they are carried out in compliance with the project HSSE, Quality and schedule requirements.
You oversee and coordinate all technical and administrative construction activities, ensuring the project objectives are met efficiently and within budget and schedule.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include conducting the constructability review and providing input to Engineering.
You conduct and oversee advanced technical evaluations, risk assessments, and feasibility studies to guide project decision-making.
You provide guidance and advanced technical expertise on construction techniques to the project / site team, ensuring best practices are followed.
You address operational challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve construction performance and reduce non-productive time.
You coordinate the interface and priorities between disciplines to solve construction issues, follow up on the construction status and progress to meet the schedule.
You conduct and oversee advanced technical evaluations, risk assessments, and feasibility studies to guide project decision-making.
You provide guidance and mentorship to the project construction team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Education
At least a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field with strong knowledge of construction principles and processes, and HSSE regulations
Experience
At least 8 years extensive experience in construction with proven track record of successful project delivery in complex environments, combined with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
