We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Admin Assistant to support our mining site operations. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth administrative processes and efficient communication across our mining projects. What are you going to do 

As a Senior Admin Assistant for our mining sites, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to on-site management and field teams. Your duties will include managing schedules, coordinating logistics, handling documentation, and serving as a key point of contact between site personnel and headquarters. You will ensure that all administrative tasks are completed efficiently, contributing to the overall productivity and success of our mining operations.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily site administration and general project administrative activities
  • Maintain project documents, reports, permits, correspondence, and filing systems
  • Monitor attendance, timesheets, and personnel administration records
  • Support onboarding documentation, leave administration, and employee/site records
  • Prepare routine administrative and manpower reports
  • Coordinate with site teams, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments for administrative matters
  • Support general office/site administration including petty cash, office supplies, and related site admin requirements
  • Ensure proper documentation compliance in line with company procedures and site requirements

Essential skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Administration, Management, HR, International Relations, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in site/project administration
  • Prior experience in Mining, Oil & Gas, EPC, Energy, Construction, or industrial projects is preferred
  • Experience in site administration, manpower administration, reporting, and document control
  • Good English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a dynamic site environment
  • Willing to be based in Timika, Papua on a local hire / non-rotation basis
