Scaffolding Inspector

Position: Scaffolding Inspector;

YOE: 5 to 10 Years;

Contract: On 6-month Contract;

Location: Barjora;

Job Description:

• Design and preplanning of the scaffold including weight limitations, scaffold type, fall protection, tie-offs, supports, etc;
• Overseeing the erection of the scaffold;
• Final inspection of the scaffold prior to initial occupation for use;
• At a minimum, daily inspection and documentation of the condition of the scaffold and its ability to be occupied safely;
• Inspections of scaffolds after changes / alterations have been made;
• Oversight and inspections of mobile scaffolds;
• Training of other competent persons, scaffold erectors, and users;
• Contact EHS for assistance and guidance in any of the duties associated with being a Competent Person;
• Review scaffold erection plan, identify potential hazards, review supporting structures and Identify load bearing capacity;
• Review of fall arrest arrangement and rescue procedure;
• Conduct training and tool box talks for scaffold erectors;
• He shall be able to generate scaffolding inspection report both in hard copy and in soft as per requirements in MS Excel, MS Word or MS PPT formats as per prescribed format and frequencies.
