What are you going to do
- Responsible for the overall management, safety, and operational performance.
- Ensuring compliance with HSE policies, conducting pre-tour meetings, and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Managing daily drilling activities, maintenance, and rig mobilization/demobilization (moving/setting up).
- Leading, mentoring, and scheduling crews, including on-the-job training and performance management.
- Acting as the primary liaison with operators, reporting on production, and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
- Coordinating equipment supplies (pipe, fuel) and ensuring the repair/maintenance of drilling machinery.
Essential skills and knowledge
- 15+ years of extensive managerial experience in offshore drilling rigs.
