Position Overview

As a Project Manager, you will represent the client on multiple large projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are running smoothly. You will play a key role in overseeing the project work and cost schedules and identifying potential risks to ensure the clients investments yield the results promised. The ideal candidate will have an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) background with 6-15 years of experience in chemicals or renewable energy.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project execution, ensuring that work and cost schedules align with the project execution plan.
  • Actively engage with project teams to ensure smooth operations and address any issues as they arise.
  • Extract and analyze data from various systems to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management on project status.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Foster a positive working environment and promote teamwork among project teams.

Essential skills and knowledge

Qualifications

  • 6-15 years of experience in project management within the EPC industry, specifically in chemicals or renewable energy.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including work scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the project's day-to-day operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential risks.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • PMP is preferred but not a requirement
