What are you going to do
Working closely with senior management, site teams and subcontractors, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of your projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing projects from pre-construction and procurement through to practical completion and handover.
- Leading and coordinating Site Managers, Contract Administrators and subcontractors.
- Developing and managing project programmes, budgets and forecasts.
- Overseeing procurement, subcontractor engagement and contract administration.
- Monitoring project costs, variations, claims and financial performance.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
- Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements, quality standards and safety regulations.
- Identifying and managing project risks, programme delays and commercial issues.
- Providing regular project reporting and updates to senior management.
- Driving a strong focus on quality, safety and overall project outcomes.
Essential skills and knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 4+ years' experience as a Head Contractor Project Manager delivering commercial construction projects from $10M to $30M
- A minimum of 5 years' experience within the Australian construction industry
- A proven ability to manage projects from pre-construction through to practical completion
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to lead project teams while working autonomously and collaboratively
- Excellent organisation, time management and problem-solving skills
- A strong focus on safety, quality and delivering successful project outcomes
- Must have local Australian experience and full working rights
