Introduction

Brunel is working with a major Oil and Gas company looking for a Wellsite Geologist to join their team in Spring, TX for a 1-year assignment.

What are you going to do 

Work to start in East Texas and will cover several wells, potentially extending into Arkansas and Louisiana over the course of ~1 year. This is for the Low Carbon Solutions Business, encompassing wells that will have heavy Formation Evaluation components including wireline and conventional coring operations. Several wells will be drilled in onshore East Texas, Arkansas, and/or Louisiana (onshore & marsh environment) which require onsite Geological support.

Essential skills and knowledge

Wellsite Geologist is expected to supervise Geological Service providers (e.g., Mud Logging, Wireline, Conventional Coring) and be an excellent communicator in helping the team in Houston pick core points Hole Section TDs and ensure good quality data acquisition and transmission. Wellsite Geologist is expected to work 12hrs/day minimum (day) with little/no night backfill.
