Introduction
Brunel is currently partnering with a leading multinational manufacturing company to identify an experienced HSE Manager who will drive Health, Safety, and Environmental excellence across its operations in Central/East Java.

What are you going to do
- Lead the development and execution of Health, Safety & Environmental strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Ensure full compliance with Indonesian HSE regulations, company standards, and international best practices.
- Drive a proactive safety culture through leadership, coaching, training, and employee engagement.
- Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, corrective actions, and preventive initiatives.
- Monitor HSE performance through KPIs, audits, inspections, and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, HR, and senior leadership to improve HSE performance.
- Manage environmental compliance, waste management, emissions monitoring, and sustainability initiatives.
- Lead emergency preparedness programs and business continuity planning.
- Manage external audits and maintain relationships with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
Essential skills and knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8-10 years of HSE experience within manufacturing or industrial operations.
- At least 3 years in a managerial or leadership position.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian HSE regulations and international standards.
- Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
- Certified AK3 Umum (mandatory); additional HSE certifications are highly regarded.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Willing to be based in Central or East Java.
