Introduction

  • Provide project management specifically related to systems, areas, partial handovers, and handovers completion to the EPC-1 Project manager.
  • Position includes project management in general, preparation or coordination for the finalization of technical notes, decisions records, presentations, general and overall coordination with the EPC-1 Project Management Leadership Team, including as directed by the EPC-1 Project manager but specifically with the area division managers, construction and pre-commissioning division manager, commissioning manager, handover, and completions division manager.
  • Position includes for daily, weekly, and monthly (through reports and dashboards) with end-user.
  • The position includes preparation and/or inputs to the various projects reports such as but not limited to project weekly, monthly reports and other specific and ad-hoc reports as required.
  • Working in a highly technical, dynamic, and challenging project management environment, provide daily assistance, Project management and technical support for handover and completions to the EPC-1 Project manager, demonstrating an understanding of the requirements of EPC-1 Contract, challenges and priorities. Strong technical background coupled with proven experience in the role of Project or Senior Project engineer.
  • The position requires a high degree of autonomy, as well as flexibility and reactivity to manage the day-to-day activities, but also accept the dynamic and changing in priorities and activities nature of the position.

What are you going to do 

  • Provide daily support to the EPC-1 Project manager in all aspects of the systems handover and completion, with a strong interface within the EPC-1 Project Management leadership team and with the EPC-1 Contractor leadership team.
  • Strong and soft communication skills, organized, methodical and flexible with the assignment of tasks and priorities.
  • Understand inter disciplines dependencies to be able to make judgements on final project management and technical decisions. Apply risk management techniques to facilitate decision making process. Communicate key project management, technical issues and risks to the EPC-1 Project manager to facilitate decision making.
  • Capable to initiate, prepare, review, or finalize Project documents and correspondences such as: letters, technical notes, decision records, interface queries and interface agreement, schedule and critical paths analysis, progress reporting, budget, minutes of meeting, PowerPoint presentations.
  • The position is and will remain based at Industrial City from assignment to the Project until its end, to enlarge scope, learning and responsibilities with coordination and involvement in SHES, QA-QC, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, handover, and completion activities.
  • Coordinate inputs to the EPC-1 Project weekly and monthly meetings, minutes of meeting and actions list, including the monthly meeting with start-up managers.
  • Participate in the Project Monthly and Weekly meetings with EPC-1 Contractor - in charge of providing inputs, review of EPC-1 Project Management Team’s comments to the minutes of meeting and actions list; back to the EPC-1 Project manager for final review.
  • Provide assistance and input to the EPC-1 Project manager and Business Division manager for the preparation of the meetings with the COMPANY, Onshore Senior Project manager, and the EPC-1 Project manager.
  • Provide assistance and coordination as required to the EPC-1 Area Division managers and division managers as case may be.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor and/or master’s degree in engineering or generalist engineering.
  • Proven experience with systems handover and completion for large and complex projects, including used of Systems Completion Database and associated software.
  • 10 years of experience in multicultural project execution related environment within the oil and gas industry (LNG would be a plus) with proven knowledge and experience of project management, detailed engineering, interfaces management, project controls and planning, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning and systems handover and completion.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.

  • Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office and technical applications.
