The job holder is responsible for the management of all Health, Hygiene and Environment matters in the affiliate;
Develops and implements the affiliate Environmental Management Plan (Operational Discharge, Waste Management, Chemical Management Plan, Oil Spill Prevention & Response) in compliance with applicable Laws and regulations;
Warrant of TE EP RH entities in the development of the HSE-MS for environmental aspects (One MAESTRO);
Warrant of Affiliate Environmental Management System (EMS) according to ISO 14001 & Energy Management system according to ISO 50001 methodologies and implementation; warrant of entities and affiliate certification and compliance;
Manage Company entities in the development and implementation of environmental audits & monitoring plans;
Leads on key Sustainable Development principles (biodiversity, waste etc.) in coordination with other relevant departments;
Ensure the gathering, analysis and integration of required environmental data for auditable reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual);
Data administrator of the environment database Planet and its interface with Company Headquarters;
Prepare and provide yearly and Long-Term Plan environmental and Budget KPIs for TEP RH activities;
Prepare all entities and coordinate the external audit for certification of the environmental management and reporting system of the affiliate;
Participate on the definition of HSE-Department annual budget and its periodic follow up;
Manage Company entities in the assessment and management of environmental risks (environmental risk modeling, management of MSDS database, identification of sources with Environmental and Health Stakes (SEES));
Implementation of an effective waste management process and Waste Management Plan;
Oversee the identification, assessment and strategies to manage soil pollution in the operating area;
Identify all health and hygiene risks: physical, biological, chemical and mechanical;
Prepare and maintain the affiliate Health Risk Assessment File (HRAF);
Prepare Chemical Management Plan and ensure MSDS files are maintained;
Prepare and implement chemical/atmospheric exposure monitoring plan and ensure compliance to OELV’s for personnel;
Oversee relevant RFI’s, CFT’s for Health & Environment contracts, and support evaluation of HSE criteria in contracts on behalf of the affiliate/project entities;
Liaise with authorities, partners, contractors, NGO’s and other interested parties on matters pertaining to the management of health and environmental aspects;
Oversee communications and awareness campaigns;
Authority on Health & Environmental training requirements for the affiliate;
Drive activities to identify, monitor, measure and report GHG emissions and support measures to reduce Greenhouse emissions towards ‘Net Zero’ ambition;
Accountable to identify, assess and define strategy for contaminated soil depollution and monitoring. Implementation of depollution activities to return soil to recognized soil guideline values / criteria;
Health of people is top priority; accountable to identify and assess health risks and put in place appropriate management plans;
Support TEP RH HSE performance and KPI definition and objectives, with a view to continual improvement of performance.
Essential skills and knowledge
University degree: Environmental, Safety, Biology or Chemical Engineering;
Minimum 15 Years’ experience in oil and gas sector;
