What are you going to do
We're seeking experienced Final Trim GPS Operators to join a well-established civil earthworks and plant hire contractor delivering high-quality residential subdivision projects. With a strong pipeline of ongoing work, both casual and permanent opportunities are on offer for operators who take pride in precision finishing and getting the job done right the first time.
This is hands-on work across active subdivisions, where accuracy, productivity, and safety are critical. You'll be operating modern GPS-enabled machinery and working alongside a capable civil team delivering bulk earthworks through to final trim.
- Final trim earthworks on residential subdivision sites
- Operating GPS-equipped plant (excavators, dozers and/or graders)
- Reading and interpreting plans, levels, and survey marks
- Preparing lots to finished surface and specification
- Working closely with site supervisors and survey teams
- Maintaining safe, clean, and productive work areas
Essential skills and knowledge
- Proven experience in final trim GPS operation in civil construction
- Strong capability across subdivision or bulk earthworks environments
- Confident operating GPS machine control systems (Trimble or similar)
- Ability to read plans and work to tight tolerances
- White Card and relevant tickets/licences for plant operation
- Solid safety mindset and reliable work ethic
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
