Introduction

Brunel International is seeking a highly skilled and motivated E&I QA/QC Supervisor to join our team for the construction of a process plant at a mine site in Papua New Guinea (PNG). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major project in a dynamic environment. The role is based on a Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) roster, offering a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

What are you going to do 

As the E&I QA/QC Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance and quality control activities related to electrical and instrumentation works during the construction phase of the process plant. You will ensure all E&I installation complies with project specifications, standards, and safety requirements. Your role includes coordinating inspections, managing documentation, liaising with contractors and engineers, and implementing corrective actions when necessary to maintain high-quality standards.

Essential skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an E&I QA/QC Supervisor within construction of process plants, preferably in mining or industrial sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation standards, codes, and quality control procedures.
  • Experience working on remote mine sites, ideally within PNG or similar environments.
  • Ability to work FIFO on a 6-month roster with flexibility for contract extension.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and liaise with multiple stakeholders.
  • Competent in quality management systems and documentation control.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or Quality Assurance.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with site health, safety, and environmental policies.
