Introduction
We're partnering with a leading global resources organisation to engage an experienced Data Engineer for a high-profile digital transformation initiative.
What are you going to do
You'll be responsible for building and optimising modern data platforms using Snowflake, dbt, PostgreSQL and AWS Glue, while working alongside application development teams to deliver data products that drive business outcomes. Experience working with SAP data sources and integrations will be viewed favourably.
This opportunity would suit a hands-on Data Engineer who enjoys solving complex data challenges in a modern cloud environment and collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams.
Essential skills and knowledge
- Strong experience as a Data Engineer
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, PostgreSQL and AWS Glue
- Strong SQL and data modelling skills
- Experience with data governance, quality and security practices
- Experience integrating and consuming data from enterprise platforms
- Exposure to SAP data environments highly regarded
- Exposure to Agile delivery environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
