Introduction

Excellent opportunity for a Contract Administrator with experience across townhouse or multi-residential projects to take ownership of contracts, work closely with project teams and subcontractors, and play a key role in the successful delivery of multiple projects.

What are you going to do 

As a Contract Administrator, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of multiple townhouse developments, working closely with the Project Manager, site team, subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Manage the full contract administration process across townhouse and multi-residential projects.
  • Prepare, review and administer subcontractor and supplier contracts.
  • Manage variations, extensions of time, claims and contractual correspondence.
  • Assess subcontractor progress claims, invoices and payment schedules.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, commitments and commercial performance.
  • Maintain contract registers, variation registers and accurate project documentation.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve commercial matters.
  • Assist with project close-out, final accounts, defects, retentions and ensuring contractual obligations are met.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • 5 years + experience as a Contract Administrator within residential construction.
  • Strong experience working on townhouse or multi-residential developements
  • Solid understanding of subcontractor management, variations, claims and project costs.
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
