Responsible for coordinating and facilitating the construction of electric distribution infrastructure projects. This role oversees field execution and ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and aligned with quality and cost expectations. The position works closely with contractors, field crews, and project stakeholders throughout project execution.
* Coordinate and support construction activities for electric distribution projects* Monitor contractor performance, work progress, and completion status
* Lead and coordinate field crews during project execution* Perform field inspections and document findings to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
* Support project delivery and achievement of permanent in service dates* Inspect installation of distribution lines and associated electrical equipment
* Coordinate job site readiness and required permitting activities* Support scheduling and prioritization of work to meet project deadlines
* Provide field support during design and construction phases* Review post construction material reconciliation and as built documentation
* Verify contractor labor accuracy against approved designs* Identify and address safety concerns in the field
* Complete special assignments as required
* Experience with electric distribution construction and field execution* Knowledge of distribution systems up to 25kV and exposure to transmission systems up to 115kV
* Ability to interpret electrical drawings, construction documents, and design packages* Understanding of construction methods, equipment, and standards for electric distribution systems
* Experience coordinating field changes and resolving construction issues* Knowledge of right of way requirements and field permitting processes
* Extensive knowledge of OSHA, NEC, NESC, DOT, and CFR requirements* Experience enforcing company safety procedures and construction standards
* Ability to conduct field risk assessments and maintain compliance throughout project execution
* Completion of a qualified apprenticeship program* Active Journeyman Lineman Certification / License
* Minimum 5 years of experience in electric distribution construction and leading field crews* Experience managing contractor activities and crew performance
* Ability to work independently in complex field environments
