What are you going to do
- Supervise and execute energization, functional and loop testing of power distribution, motors, switchboards, MCCs, UPS and emergency systems.
- Coordinate with commissioning teams, vendors, and client reps; manage test schedules and punch-list closure.
- Verify as‑built documentation, cable termination, grounding, protection settings, and relay testing.
- Ensure compliance with project procedures, HSE rules, and electrical standards (IEC, IEEE, NACE where applicable).
- Troubleshoot faults during commissioning and provide technical sign‑offs.
Essential skills and knowledge
- Electrical engineer or diploma with relevant electrical background.
- 8+ years field experience, with minimum 3-5 years in offshore/FPSO commissioning.
- Experience with MV/LV systems, PLCs, instrument interfaces, and protective relays.
