Introduction

Weipa Dry Season Mining infrastructure project needs Service Persons who can also operate the equipment they service now.

About this role

What Will YOU Be Doing?

Working with a top-tier mine on a dry season project for their Bauxite mine in Weipa. You’ll be part of the team operating the gear to complete mine infrastructure jobs, including a dam and haul roads .

The gear is:

  • HR Service Cart
  • 623 & 637 Scrapers
  • Moxy
  • Moxy Water Cart
  • 825 Compactor
  • 16M Grader

Requirements

What do we NEED from YOU?

To do that I’ll need:

  • HR Drivers Licence.
  • You’ll have a number of years under your belt doing mining infrastructure work or similar civil projects.
  • RII less than 5 years old for your servicing and the machines you operate.
  • You care about you and your mates being safe, and going home safe.
  • You love being part of a team to get the job done for the boss.
  • Able to pass a regulatory medical and drug and alcohol screen.

  • Serviceman = $60.27 / hour
  • Depending on your operating experience up to $65.27
  • Completion bonus if you stay to the end of the project
  • We may be able to help you get or update you RII
  • Great camp with more facilities than you can count
  • 2/1 roster - 11 hour shifts - DAYS only

Paid FIFO and travel time:

  • 6 hours each way for Bris Vegas
  • 5 hours each way for Cairns and Townsville
  • Travel up on the day before your shift and home on the last shift of the swing.
