Introduction

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to work for our Tier 1 mining client based in the Perth CBD. As a Planner, you will for ensuring best practice for Planning & Scheduling is in place to support the safe, cost effective performance of Non Process Infrastructure assets. This is a Mon-Fri role on a 40 hour week. This contract is a 3 month contract initially however there is scope for extension. Immediate start available - pending onboarding checks.

About this role

  • Lead adherence to HSES standards and procedures
  • Ensure compliance to business standards and statutory obligations and embedding in SAP
  • Set clear expectations, provide frequent feedback to the team and lead by example
  • Act as a conduit between key stake holders to ensure master data is maintained in line with company standards
  • Provide clear and concise reporting on key maintenance Metrics to drive improvement
  • Work with the Long-Term Planner and Asset management teams to implement maintenance strategies in SAP
  • Work with our reliability and asset management teams to drive defect elimination
  • Provide technical training and assistance to execution teams and workgroups
  • Provide input to maintenance budgeting requirements including forecasting, account reconciliation and reporting.
  • Provide a strong focus on business improvement by owning and driving initiatives and achieving results

Requirements

  • Maintenance planning experience is essential
  • A strong commitment to personal safety and safety of the team
  • Proven experience using SAP is essential for this role
  • Prior experience in scheduling or planning maintenance activities
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Due to the immediate need for this role you must be currently based in Australia and have current unrestricted right to work in Australia to be considered for this role.
