Introduction

Urgently seeking Field Service Engineers who can assist in providing technical onsite direction and assistance to the customer in the Operation, Maintenance, Repair and Installation of Wellheads, X-trees and other related equipment within the employee’s discipline.Assist with providing communication to onshore support and the customer regarding all program activities and problems through accurate, regular and timely reporting.

About this role

  • Able to follow and execute Operating Service Procedures (OSP) and Project related Procedures (PRP) under supervision
  • Assist with Inventory control of related equipment offshore.
  • Assist with Control, Function test, Repair and reporting of necessary maintenance of delivered or rented equipment.
  • Assist with performing Pressure testing in line with installation and maintenance procedures.
  • Assist and perform preparation of work, status or problem reports to customer or project.
  • Assist in planning of shipping equipment from offshore or customer site.
  • Assist with stack-up testing.
  • Assist with Failure investigations and review of NPT occurrences
  • Assist Engineering / Project Managers with preparation of procedures if requested.
  • Assist workshop personnel if requested
  • Comply with & promote Company and Regulatory EHS requirements and procedures
  • Comply with & promote Company and Regulatory Quality Management systems
  • Assist with Reviews of Operation and Maintenance manuals
  • Assist with preparation of Installation procedures and Stack-up Testing programs.
  • Assist with the Daily Operation Report and handover to relevant offshore personnel
  • Assist with ensuring relevant equipment and tools are checked out and available.
  • Work onshore when requested by Field Service Supervisor.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Able to assist with discussing technical problems and solutions with the Customer
  • Able to assist with Troubleshooting and Repair work
  • Completed Training courses appropriate to FSE grade
  • Some knowledge of appropriate products and equipment.
  • Learning to use Digital processes e.g. GRID, NPT/ SIRCam/ Agility/ EPIMS etc
  • Working Proficiency in written & spoken English
  • Some knowledge of Drilling and Production processes related to tools.
  • Learning Offshore Installation processes.
  • Relevant Technical Education / Apprenticeship Certificate
  • Have a basic knowledge of the different working routines of typical Operating companies
  • Some knowledge of Drilling Operations.
  • Has completed approved Safety Training as required
    Desired Characteristics:
  • Have a proactive approach to allocated tasks, taking ownership of all aspects of the job: Equipment; Spares; Reviewing job history / lessons learned; Able to follow Procedures e.g. Operating Service Procedures (OSP) and Project Related Procedures (PRP).
  • The job is of an Ad-hoc nature and the FSE will be expected to be flexible in their approach to irregular working patterns.
  • Works safely at all times and able to deliver excellent Customer Satisfaction
  • Ideally PC/Digital device literate. Ability to use Word/Excel and web-based programs an advantage.

What we offer 

This role is for a contract duration of 1 year, with a work schedule of 28 days on / 28 days off. The location is based in Jandakot. We are open to candidates from the O&G, PowerGen, and Mining industries.
