Introduction

On behalf of our client, a World Leader within the Energy / Oil & Gas industry, Brunel is presently sourcing a Contracts Advisor for a 12 month contract located in the heart of the Perth CBD.

About this role

A guide to your responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the wide range of Third-Party Services provision activities
  • Coordination of third-party services, to meet operational requirements
  • Support development and implementation of contracts
  • Development, implementation and coordination of Contractor Administration systems
  • Support the delivery of activities within the contract lifecycle
  • Management of contracts including management of changes
  • Lead/Support communications/negotiations with contractors/vendors
  • Manage necessary approval processes, with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide support and guidance as the focal point for nominated contracts in execution and delivery of services
  • Support Business Systems and integration into the implementation and Operations Services Team
  • Managing Contractor cost and providing visibility of contractor costs
  • Coordinate on contractual, commercial, taxation/duties, AIP, insurance, IR, insurance, HSES and legal issues with relevant internal stakeholders
  • Ensure commercial and contractual correspondence with Contractor is efficiently handled

Requirements

  • Post Award Contract Management (PACM) experience is essential
  • Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry in the field of implementation, execution and Contractor Management will be highly regarded
  • Previous experience in coordination of Services Contracts
  • Exposure to development and management of Maintenance Services Contracts - ideally SAP
  • Cost Control / Cost tracking
  • Integrated planning, resources mobilisation and competency management
  • Strong interpersonal skills in negotiating, influencing and teamwork
