Introduction

Our client a leading company in the mining industry, dedicated to excellence are seeking a Civil Engineer dedicated to earthworks and civil engineering. The team is committed to innovative solutions and high-quality outcomes. This role will be joining a dynamic team based in Perth, with some site visits required.

About this role

Earthworks: Execute and manage earthworks projects including pads, trenching, and related civil engineering tasks for fixed plants and NPI (Non-Processing Infrastructure)

Mine Road Design: Design and oversee the construction of mine roads and haul roads to ensure safety, durability, and efficiency.

Project Management: Lead and manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring all works are completed on time and within budget.

Site Visits: Conduct site visits to ensure project specifications and safety standards are being met.

Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, site managers, and stakeholders to deliver optimal project outcomes.

Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

Minimum 6 years of experience in civil engineering, specifically in earthworks and mine road design.

Proven experience working in the mining sector.

Proficient in civil engineering design software and project management tools.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work effectively both in the office and on-site.
