Introduction

Our client a leading company in the mining industry, dedicated to excellence are seeking a Civil Engineer dedicated to earthworks and civil engineering. The team is committed to innovative solutions and high-quality outcomes. This role will be joining a dynamic team based in Perth, with some site visits required.

About this role

  • Earthworks: Execute and manage earthworks projects including pads, trenching, and related civil engineering tasks for fixed plants and NPI (Non-Processing Infrastructure)
  • Mine Road Design: Design and oversee the construction of mine roads and haul roads to ensure safety, durability, and efficiency.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring all works are completed on time and within budget.
  • Site Visits: Conduct site visits to ensure project specifications and safety standards are being met.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, site managers, and stakeholders to deliver optimal project outcomes.
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in civil engineering, specifically in earthworks and mine road design.
  • Proven experience working in the mining sector.
  • Proficient in civil engineering design software and project management tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both in the office and on-site.
