Functieomschrijving: Operations Officer

Goal of the position:Ensuring the correct on and off boarding processing of the contractors and logistics activities. The main data will be supplied by the sales team members within the set conditions and frameworks ofBrunel, with the aim of ensuring the completeness of the administration.

Furthermore, you will be streamlining and optimizing the processes within the Operations department and coordinating, implementing with the aim of optimizing the administrative processes. This position is within the heart of the company and acts as a spider in the web linking cross-functional activities between front-mid-back office. It also offers future potential for advancement to a Team lead role.

Result areas:

1. Contractors administration / Sales Support

• Responsible for Taking care of, (co-) performing and checking the entire Brunel’s contractadministration (on and off boarding) in accordance with the established procurement guidelines,general conditions and legal frameworks, with the aim of ensuring timely and correct delivery ofdocuments to internal and external stakeholders.

• Managing and ensuring the insurance administration, in accordance with the established guidelines.

• Provide superior support to our Consultants whilst on assignment and to the sales team.

• Identifying bottlenecks and undertaking to set out actions for the contractor and the business.

• Be the first point of contact for your stakeholders to answer questions.

2. Monitor processes

• Identify which transactions need to be handled administratively.

• Monitor whether documents are returned and if necessary postpone actions or escalate mattersto Business Managers and/or Acccount Coördinator.

• Monitor the timely return of the required forms and input from the line within the established procedures with the aim of timely delivery to the back office.

3. Logistics

• Assisting all logistical activities for consultants and internal staff, to the needs of the stakeholders.This will include applying for special taxation, local requirements, and occasionally visas, workpermits, travel arrangements (including flights, trains and transfers) and accommodation. Workingwith tight deadlines to allow Brunel to deliver to our client’s requirements.

4. Information Reports

• Drafting of reports within the agreed reporting guidelines with the aim of providing the manager /business with insight and improvement points of the department.

• Assist in weekly headcount and monthly MMR reporting.

5. HSE

• Upholds safety standards, identifies and corrects conditions that affect employee safety, anddisplays safe on the job behaviors.

• Where required, provides feedback to others to ensure compliancy by all.

• Be part of the regional HSE Team.


As the New Operations Officer you recognize yourself in the following:

  • Minimum HBO degree;
  • Preferably 2 years work experience in B2B sales or business services;
  • Knowledge of the secondment branch is preferred;
  • Knowledge of Navision/XRM/Wizard is preferred;
  • Fluent in English, Dutch is a pre.


This is a financial position for 40 hours a week. Our offer:
