Functieomschrijving: Embedded Software Engineer (Motion Control Systems, RTOS, Robotics, C++)
Our client is responsible for designing and producing high-tech machines and machine modules. They are also manufacturing and assembling their machines under one roof. Their high-tech production facility is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery to produce any designed product. Their clients are international leaders within the high-tech engineering domain. They are expanding their business, therefore we are looking for experienced Embedded Software Engineer who will empower their software group.
These Embedded Software Engineers will work on projects closely related to Motion Control Systems, Robotics and Precision Equipment and will write real-time software in mostly C++.
As a Software Engineer at our client you are responsible for the full lifecycle of software for complex modules and machines. You work with a code base of mainly C++ and C, Python or C#. The software is used for real time operations. This code base is the fundament to deliver in a reliable way for multiple systems and multiple users. You cooperate closely with colleagues from all other disciplines and strategic customers in a multidisciplinary team. The software team works in an agile fashion in scrum teams. You see it as a challenge to take up new things and explore new tools and techniques.
Vereisten
- Bachelor or Master degree informatics or technically oriented with at least 4 years of experience in an embedded software engineering role within a high-tech environment
- Experience with high tech complex machine control
- Experience with Real time control software and Real time Operating systems / Linux / Sun Solaris / VxWork
- Strong knowledge of C++ is required
- C, C# and Python are a plus!
- Good command of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written

At our client machines are being developed, manufactured and assembled. All this takes place under one roof. Think of automated milling machines, lathes, grinders, welding robots, laser cutters, etc. Our client encysts of the following disciplines: mechanical, electrical, mechatronics and software. Out of these disciplines multidisciplinary project teams are assembled. These teams are responsible for the realization of challenging projects for leading international clients within the high-tech engineering (machine building).
