Functieomschrijving: Embedded Linux Engineer
Join us as a Senior Embedded Linux Software Engineer and become a valuable member of our dynamic engineering team at Brunel. We specialize in developing cutting-edge embedded software for high-tech products and offer an international work environment that fosters personal growth and development.
As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing embedded software for a diverse range of high-tech products. Your main focus will revolve around the selection and configuration of Embedded Linux kernels (Yocto, Red Hat), configuring Board Support Packages (BSP), customizing Linux services, and developing customer-specific applications. Additionally, you will be the technical liaison with our esteemed customers and report progress to the Program Manager. Collaboration with other teams, including mechanics and electronics, will be crucial to delivering successful projects.
Vereisten
To excel in this role, you should have completed a:
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science or a related field.
- You must possess at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Embedded Linux development (Yocto, Red Hat) and be well-versed in modern Software Engineering techniques and tools.
- Proficiency in C/C++, QT/QML, and Scripting is essential, along with the ability to create comprehensive documentation, including Requirement, Software Architecture, Design, and Test documents.
- Fluency in English is a must, and a basic understanding of Electrical Engineering and schematics will be beneficial.
