Digital Design Engineer

Within the Crypto & Security Innovation Center you will be part of a dedicated team focusing on research and development for future cryptographic and security solutions ranging from security IP design to strong end-to-end security solutions and vulnerability analysis. You will be part of a stimulating work environment and global team developing security solutions for all of business lines.

In this role you will be responsible in a Long Term Innovation project for the implementation of RISC-V state of the art security enhancements to existing designs. You will work together with a small multi-site team of security specialists to optimize the security concepts, with breakthrough innovations and without impact to the device’s performance. This technical attractive position of working on industrial RISC-V processors with specialized fine-tuning, e.g. custom instruction set extensions, you will have a key position, which leads to a successful tape-out.

• Master of BSc Electronics and Communication
• Must have: good understanding of SystemVerilog, Makefiles, shell scripts and Linux knowledge
• Must have: Verilog, C, C++, Assembly, Python, TCL, Perl
• Must have: good understanding of pipeline CPU architectures
• Must have: proficiency with Cadence tools
• experience with Synopsis tools is a plus
