Over deze functie: EMEA Senior Manager IT Solution delivery

As we approach a very exciting stage of our growth, we are looking for a EMEA Senior Manager ITSolution delivery (Z/OS Mainframe) to join the Continental Europe Information and Technology team.
In this role, you will act as a pivotal point of contact between the business demands from severalregions (CE / UK & Ireland / Africa / Middle East) and the IT delivery teams. This team is responsible
for the fiduciary platform running on Z/OS mainframe (COBOL/VSAM/DB2), servicing 6.000 usersover 31 countries and is growing every year.

In this capacity you will be responsible for the coordination of all initiatives (both change and run thebusiness) by instructing the delivery teams from the fiduciary (mainframe) service center and making
sure the delivered outcomes are in line with the business requirements.

We will count on you to:▪ Be part of the regional IT solution delivery team in our Brussels office, you will be responsible fordelivering a portfolio of IT solutions by managing several delivery teams in a matrix environment.
▪ Lead a team of around 20 persons (colleagues, consultants and near shore partners)▪ Create and maintain project plans to ensure inputs and team progresses are correctly tracked.Partner with business stakeholders to ensure high quality for deliverables is successful met
according to business standards.▪ In collaboration with your team, architects, and operational counterparts, you will steer theimplementation of new projects by designing reusable functional components that can be rollout in
a 'Build Once Deploy Many' approach as well as supporting the ongoing support (functional andproduction).
▪ Provide support as main point of contact for third parties who need to contribute or who areaffected by planned changes / developments.
▪ Identify potential IT and process improvements to develop and propose new solutions to keystakeholders.
▪ Manage budget and forecast of project portfolio.▪ Participate in the functional / technical analysis and challenge the scoping of the projects.▪ Ensure proper change management (in coordination with business teams) & issue managementprocesses are in place and being enforced.
▪ Create training approach to accelerate the on boarding of new joiners.▪ Lead & prepare the monthly CAB (Change advisory board) towards key C Level stakeholders.▪ Ensure alignment between functional and technical teams.▪ Partner with all stakeholders across the company, which requires you to be an outstandingcommunicator in both oral and written forms, conveying technical complex information and
concepts in easily understood terms to business and operations partners. Be the ‘face’ of theplatform and SPOC towards all Marsh internal stakeholders.

Over jou

Extensive experience in managing complex enterprise core solutions mainframe based & similarsized teams in a very structured environment will help you tremendously in this role. Also, a proven2/2demonstration of leadership capabilities will help you manage our highly competent teams, includingthe development of next-generation IT talent. Other valuable skills are:
▪ Knowledge of IBM mainframe technology.▪ Ability to read & understand COBOL programs.▪ Insurance/Finance experience preferred but not essential.▪ Experience with offshore development model or developer/analysis background is an advantage.▪ Ability to build strong working relationships with IT and business managers.▪ Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.▪ Ability to quickly create value within a fast-paced, complex work environment.▪ Superb program management skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize a large number oftasks simultaneously to complete work on time.
▪ Superior communication skills in English and in French (native language of majority of the team),Dutch is optional.
