We are hiring a Senior Project Manager for our client, who is a pioneer and global leader in Brain Computer Interface (BCI) technologies with expertise in designing and developing innovative clinical devices with neural-to-digital applications.

Position Overview

Responsible for R&D Project Planning for the Innovations Team. This includes:• Influence and motivate your project teams to develop innovative and best-in-class products
• Coordinating the activities of the project team to manage development timelines and budgets• Managing the product throughout the product lifecycle in R&D
Responsibilities

• Project documentation/minutes/action items/meetings
• Project plan/timelines/ milestones• Project budgets
• Project design and manufacturing documentsCommunication
• External communication with business partners/collaborators• Internal communication with engineering, finance, quality/regulatory assurance teams and other stakeholders
• Project communication with senior level management
• Continuous improvement of internal FDA GMP and ISO 13485 compliant processes• Contribution to engineering/product development/project outcomes
Negotiation• Negotiation of contracts/customer deliverables with external business partners
• Internal negotiation of team deliverables, timelines, and budgets to meet the Company’s commercial needs
• Contribute to the Blackrock team in the creation of cutting-edge technologies to interact with animal and human nervous systems• Design next-generation brain computer interfaces that will restore function, treat neurological diseases or dysfunction

Requirements

• A BS degree, preferably in electrical engineering or a related field• A minimum of 5+ years project/product management experience, ideally in the Neuroscience, Life Science, or Medical Device industries
• The ability to implement strategic level objectives into tactical plans and action items• A proven track record of delivering projects in a timely manner and within budget limits
• Ability to apply the project management tools and techniques of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) methodologies.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Highly self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented individual with robust interpersonal skills.• Strong communication skills for interacting with teams and individuals with diverse backgrounds at various management levels
• A willingness to travel and visit our customers and clients • CAPM/PMP certification, preferred not required
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies• Proficiency with project management software and process mapping software- Asana Ideally
